  Segmental Block

Dry or wet cast, this modular concrete block facing wall consists of vertically stacked blocks that rely solely on the weight of the blocks and the block to block friction to resist overturning and sliding due to the lateral stresses of the retained soil. Depending on the block size, style, manufacturer, and global conditions, gravity segmental block walls are typically limited to 3 to 4 feet. Some block styles can extend to heights of 7 feet or more without introducing horizontal geo-grid reinforcement.

  Cast in Place

CIP Semi-Gravity wall consist of Reinforced Concrete Stem and Bases. For counterforts or buttressed walls, vertical reinforced concrete beams are utilized.

  Natural Stone

This gravity wall can utilize large boulder or flat ledge rock style stones. In addition to its own weight and interlocking capabilities as resistive forces to the lateral pressures of the retained soil this wall requires a flatter face inclination to ensure competent stability.

  Crib

A crib wall is a gravity retaining structure constructed of interlocking prefabricated reinforced or unreinforced elements. Each crib is comprised of alternating transverse and longitudinal horizontal beams.
