The main objective of this project was to develop a local retail center for the community of Cincinnati, Ohio.

One major challenge was orientating the Walltek Design Build, Inc. team with a new product – the Lock & Load wall system by Maccaferi. This was a challenge from both a design and installation perspective. Walltek did extensive research on the new materials and visited several site in Canada where the product was being produced and installed.

The construction schedule was very strict and Walltek worked two shifts in order to construct a section of the project that supported an access road by the bridge. This bridge had to be constructed by a certain due date in order to oblige by the contractual terms between the developer and the municipality. The access road required massive up grades to the connecting county roads which caused additional scheduling restrictions.

Successfully, the schedule was met by all parties involved and today, the retail development is enjoyed by the citizens of the community and also brings much needed employment to the area.
